I just started a painting of an alley today with a similar composition, so I had to take a look. Great perspective and colors, and I like the painterly fluid quality you kept.
Thanks Sam. I did that 9 years back, when I just graduated from architecture school and started concentrating on watercolor. It was a blast from unlearning what we were taught as architecture students and got to a more loose way of application. I went to the same alley 2 months back and they built a shed there. You have good skill. Keep it up.
Thanks again. Vigan is actually one of Philippines' World Heritage List declared by UNESCO only in 1999. It was established in 1758 by the Spaniards as their 3rd colony settlement in the country. I am witing a thesis on it for my masters in Historical Conservation here. I've been painting series on it since 1998.
